El síndrome de Lima // Lima´s syndrome


¿Lima?, ¿Lima? Si todos nos hacemos esta pregunta, nos vendrá a nuestra cabeza que Lima es la capital de Perú o Ciudad de los Reyes, pero no que es también un síndrome. Más conocido es su opuesto, el síndrome de Estocolmo. Las personas afectadas en este caso son los secuestradores, que empiezan a empatizar con los rehenes a su cargo y se vuelven más comprensibles.

¿Lima?, ¿Lima? If we all ask ourselves this question, it come to our head that Lima is the capital of Peru or City of the Kings, but it is also a syndrome. Best known is its opposite, the Stockholm syndrome. People affected in this case are the kidnappers, they begin to empathize with the hostages in charge and they become more understandable.

¿Quién no ha oído historias sobre Jerusalem?. Pues, algunos esas historias se las "creen" o las aceptan más de lo normal... De ahí, nace este conjunto de síntomas característicos conocidos como el "Síndrome de Jerusalem". No sólo afecta a los turistas, también puede sucederle a un autóctono.   Who has not heard stories about Jerusalem?. Well, some of these stories are "believed" or accepted more than usual ... Hence was born the characteristic set of symptoms known as the "Jerusalem Syndrome." It affects not only the tourists, it also can happen to a native.

El síndrome de Paris



¿Son japoneses? Si la respuesta es no, tranquilos, este síndrome no les podrá afectar. Consiste en la depresión que sufren estos turistas mientras están en esta famosa ciudad. Les afecta a una docena de visitantes japoneses al año. Are you Japaneses? If the response is not, be calm!, this syndrome will not be able to affect you. It consists of the depression that these tourists suffer while they are in this famous city. It affects to dozen Japanese visitors in a year.

El síndrome de Florencia o de Stendhal // The Florence Syndrome or of Stendhal


Stendhal, el famoso escritor francés del siglo XIX, escribió la obra "Napóles y Florencia, un viaje de Milán a Reggio" (en español: "El síndrome del viajero, diario de Florencia"), un libro sobre sus experiencias e impresiones durante las visitas a estas ciudades, pues no se trata más que de un libro de viajes. Por lo que si les gusta la lectura e Italia, les gustará la obra.

Stendhal, the famous French writer of the 19th century, wrote the work "Napes and Florence,a Jouney from Milan to Reggio", a traveller book on his experiences and impressions during the visits to these cities, since it does not treat itself any more than of a book of trips. For what if they like the reading and Italy, they will like the work.
