So Dior: Harrods exhibition

El martes visité la exposición temporal "So Dior"en los almacenes Harrods. A pesar de que se pueden encontrar piezas por todas las plantas, la exhibición se muestra en la cuarta planta al lado del Café de Dior. Podéis vistarla hasta el 14 de abril y es gratuita.

I visited the "So Dior" temporary exhibition in Harrods on Tuesday. Although you can find items in every floor, the exposition is shown in the fourth floor next to the Dior Café. You are in time to visit it until April 14 and It´s free.

Líneas de Nazca, Perú

Es la clase de yacimiento arqueológico que nadie podría inventar. Colibríes, monos. arañas y otras figuras gigantes, unos 800 geogíficos grabados hace 2000 años en el desierto peruano.  Pero lo más misterioso es que desde el suelo tiene el áspecto de un tramo anodino de tierra rojiza, sólo se pueden apreciar desde el cielo.

Por qué nos quitamos los zapatos en los controles de seguridad

Cuando vamos a pasar un control de seguridad en un aeropuerto nos mandan quitarnos los zapatos, el cinto y casi cualquier accesorio, ¿por qué?. La culpa se la debemos echar a Richard Reid, quien en el 2001 intentó explotar un avión con un "zapato-bomba".

El Museo del Prado abrirá todos los días de la semana // Prado Museum will open every day of the week

A partir del lunes 16 de enero, el museo del Prado abrirá sus puertas todos los días de la semana. Sólo cerrará tres días al año: 1 de enero, 1 de mayo y 25 de diciembre. También cambiará de horario: de 10 a 20h de lunes a sábado, y 10h a 19h, los domingos y festivos. Otra novedad es que las dos últimas horas del día habrá acceso gratuito a las colecciones del museo.  Se convertirá en el museo europeo con mayor horario de apertura.

Beginning Monday, January 16, the Prado museum opens its doors every day of the week. Only close three days a year: January 1, May 1 and December 25. Schedule will also change: 10 to 20h from Monday to Saturday, 10h to 19h, Sundays and holidays. Another novelty is that the last two hours of the day will have free access to museum collections. It will become the largest European museum opening hours.

Concentración motera/ Biker concentration MOTAUROS 2012

Cada año en enero, en la ciudad vallisoletana de Tordesillas, tiene lugar la concentración motera de invierno Motauros. Desde hace más de 20 años, se celebra esta reunión de los entusiastas de las motocicletas en esta localidad, antes llamada Pingüinos, ahora llamada de esta forma. Se encuentra en un pueblo precioso que merece una visita aunque no sea por la concentración (y no os lo digo porque yo sea de Tordesillas, jaja) y el ambiente de fiesta es inmejorable. Os dejo el programa oficial para que lo hojeéis, cuando se celebre intentaré hacer algunas fotos para mostrároslas, pero no puedo prometer nada porque tengo mis exámenes, como quien dice, a la vuelta de la esquina... 

Each year in January, in the town of Tordesillas, Valladolid, takes place the concentration Motauros winter biker.
