Cualquier domingo, sobre todo aquel que no llueva, es bueno para ir a conocer rutas nuevas. Hace unas semanas nos trasladamos al noroeste de Londrés. Hicimos la ruta al revés de como la proponían las guías de turismo por error, pero creo que es mejor porque así se puede acabar comiendo en uno de los mercadillos de Spitalfields. ¿Queréis uniros a nuestro paseo?.
Any Sunday, especially one that does not rain, it's good to get to know new routes. A few weeks ago we visited northwest of London. We did the route in reverse of how tourist guides propose by mistake, but I think It is better because you can end up eating at one of the markets of Spitalfields. A las 12 y media de la mañana (no somos muy madrugadoras, lo sé...) partíamos de la estación de metro de Old Street en Shoreditch, donde ya empezábamos a ver tiendas de antigüedades, hacia Columbia Road y su colorido mercadillo de flores. En los laterales del mercadillo, hay tiendas de comida, de ropa y de decoración. Nosotras nos compramos unos calamares rebozados, que aunque no son como los que hacen nuestras madres, nos supieron a gloria.
At 12 and a half in the morning (we aren´t early birds, I know ...) we started from Old Street Metro Station in Shoreditch, where we were beginning to see antique shops, to Columbia Road and its colorful Flower market . On the sides of the market, there are stores of food, clothing and decor. We bought a battered calamari rings, which although not as those who make our mothers, they were delicious.

A continuación, cruzando Bethnal Green road llegamos a la original Brick Lane street, el"carril del ladrillo", llena de graffitis y gente vestida de forma alternativa. Nada más entrar al oírnos charlar un comerciante, se puso a hablar con nosotras y a preguntarnos que si eramos italianas o españolas.

Después, nos perdimos por sus tiendas vintage, sus mercadillos de comida de todo el mundo, de antigüedades, y de muebles como el Old Truman Brewery. Finalmente, acabamos tomando un café en una terraza de Liverpool Street, muy cerca de su estación de metro (el lugar de partida según las guías turísticas).
