El domingo se celebró en Londrés el día de San Patricio. Este es el segundo año que celebro este día fuera de España, hace 2 fue en Nueva York (aquí). Durante unas pocas horas se pudo disfrutar del desfile, pues hubo un momento que empezó a llover a cántaros y no había forma de estar allí viéndolo. Más tarde, en Trafalgar Square hubo un festival de música irlandesa.
St Patrick's day was celebrated in London las Sunday. This is the second year that I celebrate this day outside Spain, the other was in New York 2 years ago (here). For a few hours we could enjoy the parade, because at one point it started raining heavily and there was no way to be there watching. Later in Trafalgar Square, there was a festival of Irish music.
Cada año el desfile realiza un recorrido diferente. Nosotros lo vimos al final del recorrido, en una calle cercana a Trafalgar Square. El desfile es muy variado, se pueden encontrar desde la típica banda irlandesa hasta un grupo disfrazado de vacas. Al finalizar el desfile, además del festival, muchos pubs y bares organizar sus propias fiestas también. ¡Una excusa más para seguir celebrando!.
Each year the parade takes a different route. We saw at the end of the tour, in a street near Trafalgar Square. The parade is varied, you can find from the typical Irish band to a group dressed as cows. At the end of the parade, in addition to the festival, many pubs and bars also organize their own parties. One more excuse to continue celebrating!.
