Powerscourt Gardens, Wicklow

Los jardines Powerscourt son un ejemplo más de las excursiones que podemos hacer en nuestro viaje a Dublín. Se encuentran en Enniskerry, un pueblo cercano a la capital ( a unos 20 km). Den un paseo por este jardín muy trabajado al que no le falta ni un detalle, ¡tiene hasta cementerio de mascotas!.

The gardens Powerscourt are one more example of the excursions that we can do in our trip to Dublin. They are in Enniskerry, a people near to the capital (to approximately 20 km). Give a walk along this garden very worked that lacks not even a detail, it has up to cemetery of pets!.

¿Quién todavía no ha oído hablar de Central Park?. El afamado parque público newyorquino se encuentra en el distrito de Manhattan, en Nueva York. Se ha hecho famoso debido a sus múltiples apariciones en el cine o series de televisión. Tuve la oportunidad de visitarlo varias veces cuando estuve en Nueva York, y la verdad, es como nuestro parque El Retiro de Madrid o el parque Campo Grande de Valladolid (mi ciudad natal) a lo grande. La primera vez que estuve, pasear por el parque era como estar dentro de una película, porque casi todo él ¡ya lo había visto antes en la ciencia ficción!.

Who hasn´t still heard speaking about Central Park?. The famous public park of New York is in the district of Manhattan, in New York. It has become famous due to its multiple appearances in the movies or sitcoms. I had the opportunity several times to visit it when I was in New York, and the truth, It is like our park El Retiro, at Madrid, or the Campo Grande, at Valladolid (my natal city) to the big thing. The first time that I was, to walk along the park was like to be inside a movie, because almost the whole part of it, I had seen it before in the science fiction!.

Cuando leí un artículo sobre el cambio de autobuses en Malta, me acordé de las sensaciones que me provocaron cuando estuve allí: los olores, su peculiar interior, el mal humor de los conductores, el mal estado de las carreteras o la falta de respeto a las normas de la circulación. Pero, a pesar de todo ello todos los que hemos montado en ellos nos queda un buen recuerdo. Para que no queden sólo en mi memoria y en mi álbum personal os escribo sobre ellos.

MI CURSO DE INGLÉS EN NUEVA YORK: The New Yorker Hotel/residencia & Kaplan Internacional School

                     Vistas desde la escuela (Empire State Building)

 A principios de este año, estuve buscando sobre los cursos de inglés y las posibles residencias de estudiantes en Nueva York. Al final me decidí por la escuela Kaplan ( a partir de la agencia española language4you) y la residencia New Yorker en el Midtown. Y ya que las encontré mediante Internet y me documenté en algún blog o webs, he decidido aportar mi granito de arena a los que se decidan a hacer un curso de inglés este verano o cuando quieran y contar mi experiencia.

Mosta, Malta

Mosta se encuentra aproximadamente en el centro geográfico de la isla. En el pasado, se consideraba una ciudad segura por estar alejada de los ataques de las zonas costeras. Dada su posición,  es una encrucijada  en la ruta de aquellos que viajaban desde el sur y el este en dirección al norte de la isla.

Mosta is approximately in the geographical center of the island. In the past, it was considered to be a sure city for being removed from the assaults of the coastal zones. El Museo Conmemorativo del Holocausto (USHMM) es el 'monumento oficial' conmemorativo de todas las víctimas y sobrevivientes del Holocausto en los EE.UU. El museo del aire y en el espacio se encuentra en Washington. Posee la mayor colección de aviones y naves espaciales del mundo y es un centro de investigación sobre la historia, ciencia y tecnología de la aviación y el vuelo espacial, así como de las ciencias planetarias, la geología terrestre y la geofísica. Casi todos los objetos exhibidos son originales o copias de reserva de los originales.
