Es uno de los paisajes más espectaculares del geografía burgalesa y un pueblo muy pequeño con encanto. Tiene pequeñas cascadas y cuevas naturales. Se puede visitar una de sus cuevas por muy poco precio (fines de semana y verano), donde se puede ver el río dentro de la cueva.
El acceso al pueblo es un poco díficil porque se encuentra aislado entre las rocas, de hecho, hay poca cobertura para móviles. No se puede subir con el coche al pueblo, se tiene que dejar aparcado en la carretera. Es un lugar idóneo para aislarse del mundo en sus pequeñas y pocas casas rurales.
