Es un barrio adinerado muy peculiar del distrito de Columbia, en el que se mezcla la comunidad gay y el ambiente diplomático. Por lo que está siempre muy animado. Aunque, aparentemente en las guías encontremos que tenga un ambiente gay cuando nosotros fuimos (por recomendación de una pareja española afincada allí), nos encontramos bares y discotecas llenas de universitarios y de gente con ganas de pasárselo bien debido a que se encuentra al lado de la universidad Georgetown.

Especialmente nos lo recomendaron porque es un barrio bastante seguro para turistas, y paralelamente, menos frecuentado por ellos, donde poder conocer más la forma de vida del lugar. Me llamó mucho la atención su entrada al metro, que os hablaré de ella en el próximo post.
