Milady trip: Washington´s house in Mount Vernon, Virginia

La casa del presidente Washington se encuentra en el Monte Vernon en el "Old town Alejandria" (que también recomiendo visitar) sobre la ribera oeste del río Potomac, 15 millas al sur de Washington D.C. Fue construida en torno a 1743 por Lawrence Washington, hermanastro del primer Presidente. Con posterioridad, George Washington heredó la finca de miles de acres de tierras onduladas.

The house of the president Washington Vernon is in the Mount in the " Old town Alexandria " (that also I recommend to visit) on the bank west of the river Potomac, 15 miles to the south of Washington D.C. Cómo llegar:

Transporte público: tomar el metro hasta Huntington y luego el autobus Fairfax Connector 101. No lo recomiendo pues tardarían mucho en llegar, y la visita del lugar, lo pueden hacer durante 2-4 horas. Aproveche el tiempo para visitar el Old town Alejandria u otros lugares cercanos.
Tourmobile (www.tourmobile.com; adultos/niños 30/15 US$, entrada al Mount Vernon incluida) ofrece tres visitas al día al Monte Vernon, que parten del cementerio nacional de Arlingron, el Washington Monument o de la estación de autobuses de Washington. Yo alquilé un tour con esta empresa que también incluía el cementerio de arlington ( en otro post anterior, aquí), el monumento en honor de la Infantería de los EEUU, y algunos monumentos del centro de Washington por poco dinero más, y mereció la pena porque me ahorré mucho tiempo buscando el transporte público (las paradas de metroy y autobuses están muy distantes unas de otras).
Potomac River Company (ww.potomacriverboat.com; adultos/niños 38/20 US$, entrada a Monte Vernon incluida) en la que recorrer el río Potomac y paran en el muelle de la casa de Washington.
Alternativa gratuita: ir en bicicleta siguiendo el río Potomac desde el D.C., cuando yo fui se veía mucha gente por este camino o en bici o corriendo, si tienen tiempo es una buena opción.

How to come:

I rented a tour with this company that also was including the cemetery of arlington (in another previous post, here), the monument in honor of the Infantry of the USA, and some monuments of the center of Washington nearly money more, and it was worth it because I saved myself a lot of time looking for the public transport (the stops of metroy and buses are very distant some of others).

Potomac River Company (ww.potomacriverboat.com; adults / children 38/20 US$, entered to Monte Vernon included) in that to cross the river Potomac and they stop in the wharf of the house of Washington.

Free alternative: to go in bicycle following the river Potomac from the D.C., when I was people were meeting great for this way or in bicycle or running, if they have time it is a good option.
